Our students are the creators of life on campus; Imperial College Union is there to help it happen by providing funding, representation, support and space in its dedicated building on campus.
Each year over 2,500 students are elected to volunteer roles in the Union, from becoming one of 500+ course reps to joining the student media team behind our newspaper, radio and TV stations which operate from brand new media facilities in the Union building.
The Union building includes:
- two bars
- a nightclub
- a student-run cinema
- an Advice Centre providing independent and confidential support
In addition, it runs a shop and newsagent on the South Kensington Campus, as well as a bar at the Charing Cross Campus.
Every penny raised in Union outlets is reinvested into their services for the benefit of the entire student body.
The Union also oversees and funds one of the largest ranges of clubs, societies and projects of any UK university. This means you will have hundreds of opportunities to meet new people, learn new skills and try things you have never done before.
