Programme suspension and withdrawal
Requests to suspend or withdraw a programme should be submitted using the form below where they will be reviewed by the Quality Assurance and Enhancement Team and submitted to the Programmes Committee for approval.
Departments may request to suspend a programme for up to three years or to withdraw a programme permanantly.
Once a programme has been suspended for three consecutive years it will be automatically withdrawn. The Quality Assurance and Enhancement Team will advise departments each year of any programmes which are approaching this deadline.
Once a programme has been withdrawn it cannot be reintroduced without going through the new programme proposal process. Departments should also note that new programmes which are suspended before they have been run will also be required to be re-approved as a new programme.
