Terms of reference and membership of Imperial Innovations Partnership Board and Technology Transfer Working Group

College and Innovations have set up a Partnership Board (IPB) to provide the forum to address the Research Office survey findings and manage customer expectations and customer/supplier relationship.

College has also set up a Technology Transfer Working Group (TTWG) to maximise the value and effectiveness of technology transfer.

Objective: To maximise the value and effectiveness of technology transfer at College by developing and overseeing the College's technology transfer strategy, managing the customer/supplier relationship between the College and Imperial Innovations, and where appropriate making recommendations to College Management Board.

  • To proactively manage the relationship with Imperial Innovations through quarterly meetings
  • with their representatives, establishing benchmarks, setting appropriate metrics etc

  • To review the resources and processes in the College and Innovations, and if appropriate propose changes, to ensure that there is the appropriate capability to manage technology transfer in general, and the relationship with Imperial Innovations in particular.

Reporting to: College Management Board

Meetings: Bi-monthly plus quarterly bilateral meeting with Imperial Innovations
