CDT Neurotechnology Project Calls

The Centre for Doctoral Training in Neurotechnology for Life and Health annual call for projects (2017/18) is now closed. 

We still invite applications for joint CDT-partner funded studentship projects for October 2017 start. We encourage proposals for 4-year (MRes+PhD) studentships at the interface of neuroscience and engineering.  CDT students will study in a structured “1+3” training programme, with the first year as the MRes in NeurotechnologyTo be considered, proposals must fulfil the CDT Neurotechnology criteria of being multidisciplinary, in terms of the project, training, and supervisory team.


We encourage applications for 2017-18 from teams who can secure at least 50% funding from a partner organisation.  Eligible partner organisations must be external to Imperial College and may include industry, charity or exceptionally, government sources.  Joint proposals may be submitted on a rolling basis up to a final deadline of Friday 26th May 2017.  However, early applications are encouraged, as funding for joint projects is limited and proposals will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
