Biography

Photo of Nur AhmadiNur Ahmadi received the B.Eng. degree in electrical engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia, in 2011 with focus on VLSI design. During his bachelor study, he was involved in several industrial collaborative projects for developing communication technologies such as fixed/mobile WiMAX, WiGig, and LTE. In 2011, he was awarded Monbusho/MEXT scholarship for master study at the Department of Communication and Integrated Systems, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Japan where he developed biometric fingerprint authentication system on smartphone. After graduated in 2013, he moved back to Indonesia and worked at the Microelectronics Centre, ITB where he carried out research on VLC, NFC, and smart stethoscope. In April 2016, he was enrolled as PhD student at the Department of Electrical & Electronic Engineering, Imperial College London funded by LPDP scholarship. He joined the Next Generation Neural Interfaces Lab, within the Centre for Bio-Inspired Technology and Circuits & Systems Research Group to develop real time neural decoding (lf-LFP processing) for Brain Machine Interfaces.
