Introduction

The Joint Honours Programme offers Imperial’s Science and Medical undergraduates a challenging and innovative one-year course in management. We provide a good grounding in the core subjects, which will give you an understanding of the management and operating environment of business organisations.

Students from the departments of biochemistry, biology, biomedicine and chemistry can choose to study this programme in their final year.

Medical students can opt for the management module as part of their BSc modular degree. Although some of the courses are shared with the science students, much of the programme has a specific focus on healthcare.

This programme is also available to students who want to take management as part of the intercalated BSc from other institutions. Whilst demanding, our balanced programme of formal teaching, case studies and individual and group work will develop your personal, conceptual and analytical skills, and give you an opportunity to broaden your academic experience and mix with students from other disciplines.

Prospective students should apply to one of the departments that offer a Joint Honours course with Management. Information about courses and admission to the College can be obtained from the undergraduate prospectus.

The Course Directors are Dr Edgar Meyer (e.meyer@imperial.ac.uk) and Mrs Edina Hamzic-Maguire (e.hamzic-maguire@imperial.ac.uk)
