Ms Lisa Carrier, Head of Technology-Enhanced Education
- Leads the development and delivery of the School's e-learning strategy
- Develops systematic guidelines and procedures to ensure a sustainable e-learning infrastructure
- Works with instructional design, coordination across distributed teams, business analysis and undertakes project management
- Her research interest is in game-based learning and virtual worlds
- Knowledge of International learning standards and their implementation across platforms
Mr Ashish Hemani, e-Learning Project Manager
Ashish is an e-Learning Project Manager at the School of Medicine, Imperial College London. He holds an MBA and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and is a certified PRINCE2 professional. Ashish has the breadth of experience of executing a number of learning assignments in an academic setting, combined with versatile and global commercial skills.
His main roles are to manage and support the Virtual Patient Application project; work closely with partners, internal editors and academic staff to develop and deliver professional standard learning resources, and explore current national and international activities and projects in the Medical domain.
Mr Taylor Bennie, Learning Technologist
Taylor is a Learning Technologist at the School of Medicine, Imperial College London. He has extensive experience of working in e-Learning, assistive technology, equalities and student services. He has accumulated vast experience in web development, graphical/desktop publishing design, e-Learning development, database design/ implementation, management, and technical support. He has varied background, with a BSc in Forensic and Analytical Chemistry, MPhil in Archaeological Studies and a PGDE (Adult Literacies).
His role is to manage and support various projects delegated by the e-Learning Strategy and Development Manager. Current work involves providing support for the iPad Project and providing support for the Blackboard Learn system.
Mr Akram Ameen, Learning Technologist
Akram is a Learning Technologist at the School of Medicine, Imperial College London. Having completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, he has accumulated vast experience in web development, programming, testing, graphical design, e-Learning development, LMS management and technical support.
His role is to manage and support various projects delegated by the e-Learning Project Manager. Current work involves providing support for the Blackboard system, providing analysis and reporting on a number of current projects and preparing a strategy to pilot new VLE systems within the School of Medicine.
