Information for students on a Chemistry with Research Abroad degree course (F101, F104)

For Students on a Year-in-Europe programme:

If you are registered on a Chemistry with Research Abroad degree course and going to spend a year in Europe in a host university where you will study in a foreign language (France, Germany, Spain or Switzerland), you will be required to complete a Language Project, in the target language, during your time abroad. If you are registered on a Chemistry with Research Abroad degree course and going to spend a year in Europe but will study in your native language (in France, Germany, Spain or Switzerland), you will be required to complete Cultural Essay in English.  This will be assessed and count towards your degree. For STUDENTS GOING TO SPEND A YEAR-ABROAD IN AN ENGLISH SPEAKING COUNTRY OR HOST UNIVERSITY:

If you are registered on a Chemistry with Research Abroad degree course and going to spend a year in an English-Speaking host university (in Netherlands, the USA, Singapore etc.), you will be required to complete a Cultural Essay in English.
