The section remains an internationally recognised research group with a consistent, highly international PhD cohort of about 20 students. Our research pages include profiles of current staff and research students and an overview of current research. Each March, on the day of the Rankine Lecture, we run a geotechnical workshop. On this day, we welcome back many alumni who come to re-establish their connection to the Geotechnics Section.
