How do you remain competitive in today's fast moving business environment? New technologies are no longer enough to sustain and grow business. The pace of new technology development and globalisation requires new ideas, new processes and new business models.
To keep up with change organisations need to accelerate their innovation and look beyond their boundaries for new sources of ideas.
Open Innovation is a potential answer to tap into creativity and knowledge outside an organisation. It exploits a creative power of users, communities and customers to co-develop new products, services and processes.
The course will explore an emerging range of companies using open business models (e.g. Google, Facebook) and challenging traditional business approaches. It will cover a creative thinking process and idea development tools which will be supported by practical group exercises.

Prior to the course delegates will be given a questionnaire to analyse a level of innovation within the organisation of their choice.
