Visiting staff or students from other higher education institutions (Eduroam & SCONUL)
Guests who work for another higher education or research institution which is a member of the eduroam network can use their home institution account to access the WiFi network at College. If these guests only want to use the Internet, they do not need guest accounts. Connect to the eduroam network at Imperial.
Staff and students of other higher education institutions can access the College library system via SCONUL accounts.
Other visitors or guests
College staff or students can ‘sponsor’ and request guest accounts to be set up for use on campus. Sponsors use the Guest Access system to request accounts for guests or event attendees. Guest accounts can be used to access the College WiFi (network name Imperial) and allow users to make use of public computers, printing and e-learning facilities. All those with access to College accounts and IT facilities must comply with College’s Conditions of Use of IT Facilities.
When guests first connect to College’s WiFi network (name Imperial) they will be redirected to a registration page and promoted to enter a guest username and password requested and provided by their sponsor. This will register the device on the College network. Read Imperial WiFi: guest access.
